What makes EFT special?
- It often works where nothing else will
- Often also alleviates persistent physical problems
- Usually gives rapid and long-lasting relief
- Does not involve drugs or equipment
- Can be easily learned by anyone and can be taught and/or administered by telephone
- Can be discreetly self-applied
Will it work for me?
Where EFT is properly applied, over 80% of clients achieve either noticeable improvement or complete elimination of their problem.
What will it feel like?
Initially the only thing that you will feel is the tapping of your fingers on various acupuncture points. As the therapy progresses you will become physically and emotionally more at ease.
Is EFT just another fad?
EFT is based on sound scientific principles and has been found clinically effective in thousands of cases (and the number rapidly increases daily). With results like this, it is clear that EFT will be around long after many other therapies have become obsolete.
Does it complement other therapies?
Because there are no drugs or invasive procedures involved in the application of EFT, it is perfectly safe to use alongside all other forms of therapies.
Are there any limitations on what EFT can achieve?
Despite the amazing results achieved through EFT for a wide variety of psychological and physiological problems, EFT is a complementary therapy and should not be seen as a remedy or a substitute for medical treatment in the case of acute problems.
Do you have to believe in EFT for it to work?
Absolutely not. EFT has nothing to do with the placebo effect, so it does not matter whether you put your faith in it or not.
What can be treated using EFT?
Virtually everything! As I explained above there are very few situations that do not benefit at least to some degree from the treatment of EFT.
If I can just tap all my problems away why do I need to see a therapist?
The real skill in EFT is in finding the specific aspects of an issue that need to be addressed. This takes skill, experience and a certain amount of artistry. Whilst even newcomers to EFT can often make good progress with this technique, there will also be times when results seem elusive. In these cases it is best to seek the help of a skilled EFT practitioner.
