EFT Tapping Points

EFT Main Tapping PointsIf you are new to EFT, before you tap on your current physical or emotional pain, let’s take a few minutes to make sure that you have the basic tapping sequence down. Simply look at the chart and tap along with me. You will be tapping down just one side. It does not matter which side you choose, so pick the one that is the most comfortable to you.

Start by putting your middle and index fingers together in such a way that the tips meet.

We will start with the Karate Chop point. This point is located on the outside of your hand. Tap where the fleshy part is. Tap hard enough to gently stimulate the point, but not so hard that you experience any pain (this is the rule throughout the entire tapping sequence). If you have long fingernails, use the pads near the end of your fingers to tap. Ready? Let’s try it together.

Next we are going to tap the eyebrow point. The eyebrow point is located at the beginning of the eyebrow nearest to the centre of the face.

Now move your finger the side of eye point. This point is located on the bone at the side of the eye. Position the fingers on this bone so that they do not go into the fleshy part of the eye but do not go as far back as the temple.

Move to the under eye point. You will find this point on the bone under the eye about even with the pupil.

Next tap the under nose point. This point is roughly between the bottom of the nose and the top of the lip.

Now move to what we call the chin point. This point is not actually on the chin itself. It is located between the lower lip and the chin where you feel the indentation.

From here we move to the collarbone point. The collarbone points are located about one inch down and over towards the outside of where a man would tie his tie.

Finally we will tap the under arm point. You will find this point located four inches below the armpit when you lift your arm.

Well done! That is all there is to it. Review this sequence until you are comfortable with it then proceed to the page “How to Tap” and start getting the benefits of EFT.
